Did you know you don't have to leave your home to make a Big Impact at the orphanages we will be remodeling? Here are three ways you could make an impact with creativity and your laptop.
Designing Children's Bedrooms (Typically, there are 8-10 kids per bedroom). Finding a creative way to set up the beds, closets and cozy areas would be so helpful! Not to mention adding a splash of color to the walls, furniture and bedding. In addition, each room design that is accepted and brought to life will be photographed and named after the designer.
Designing playgrounds (Typically orphanages can be home to newborns all the way to early teens. Creating a diverse space that meets the needs of the different ages represented is a creative challenge. If your design for a playground is accepted, then the playground would be named after you, the designer.
Creating inovative courtyards that are both beautiful to look at, beautiful to enjoy and a creative outlet for children. (Did you know that in Guatemala properties are enclosed by walls, this includes the house garage and any courtyard or garden. This means the children almost always stay within these walls. What if we made it something they could always enjoy?
